7 Tips for Shopping

Everyone has an inner spirit in them that loves shopping and getting new clothes or makeup or shoes. The one thing that seems to stop people from getting new items all the time is 2 things called money and not having a ride or a license to go to the mall. It’s a problem most girls are faced with and I’m going to give you 7 tips for shopping that I have found to work!

#1. Figure out what you are looking for first. What I mean by this is know what you want or what style you are going for before you shop so that you don’t waste your money on things you do not need or won’t wear. A great tool for this is Pinterest! It will give you great ideas and it’s free!

#2. If you are unsure about buying something don’t do it! Do not buy something if you aren’t sure or if you can’t think of something you already have in your closet to wear it with! I have done this too many times to count and frankly I end up donating it anyways because I don’t wear it!

#3. Use cash if possible. The reason this is a helpful suggestion is because then you are more conscious of how much money you are spending. It makes you more aware which is very helpful and causes you to not want to spend as much money.

#4. Make sure you don’t already have it. What this means is when you go to buy something make sure you don’t already have it for example, I saw a really pretty dress in blue one day and I wanted to buy it but then remembered that I have the same dress just in a different shade. This does not apply to jeans though!

#5. Make a list. Before going shopping make a list of things you need and buy those first before getting anything you don’t need. The list helps keep you organized and makes you focus!

#6. Check Clearance or Sale first. This helps you save money and you can usually find some cute items there.

#7. Download a coupon app. This helps you to get a great deal on things that aren’t on sale. Also this help save you money maybe not a lot but every penny counts.
